Okay, okay. My actual birthday was on the 4th, but i just haven't had a reason to get on the comp until now.

Well, I'm officially 18 years old! It's awesome, but at the same time, I feel unusually old. At school all my friends are younger than me (which is no surprise, but still...) and at church all my friends are younger than me. A year ago it seemed like I was the youngest person I knew (haha, go figure) but now, I don't know what happened to all those people who are older than me. It's like I've reached this new part of the world where everyone is either younger than you or your age. Kinda strange...

Oh! On Saturday, my family and I went to a Sky show. No, not an Air show, a sky show. It's a college football game that is followed up by an amazing fireworks show above the stadium. It was awesome! There was even a human cannonball! They called him David "The Bullet" Smith. It was so cool, he flew something like 75 feet in the air! Of course he landed in a giant net, but the flying part was cool! But when we were getting the tickets for it, my parents got senior tickets and I got an adult ticket. I was not used to that. O.o

Hmmm, what else... Oh yeah! My car! So, for my birthday, my parents agreed that they would get my car painted. Just so you know it's a 1969 Volkswagen Beetle. It used to be white with a dark blue strip running down, off center. Like Herbie, if you've ever seen it. I kinda liked having people wave at me as I drove down the street so I got the same thing done. Only now it's kinda a cream with two stripes just like the "real" Herbie... only it doesn't have the "53" on the side. You can check out my gallery and see a pic I took of it in my school's parking lot. A friend of mine walked into the pic without knowing so I just blurred his face and cropped out most of his body.

Well, I guess that's it...Oh, remember my job at the Wild Animal Park? well I don't have it anymore... it was a summer job after all. I plan on getting it back come this November though. That's when they hire for December's Festival of Lights and they always need more people. I figure that they'd rather re-hire someone who knows what they're doing than pay to train some n00b.
